At just twenty years, indie-jazz chanteuse Megan Washington has already made quite a splash in the Australian jazz scene. Having performed at festivals such as the Woodford Folk Festival, Wangaratta Jazz Festival, the Brisbane Festival, she is also studying at the Qld Conservatorium of Music, majoring in Contemporary voice.
She has recently completed a collaborative ep with Sean Foran, of misinterprotato fame, entitled 'nightlight', available in June 2006. Winner of the James Morrison Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship 2004. Finalist in the Wangaratta National Jazz Awards 2005.
