Currently holed up in sunny Surry Hills carving away at a new bunch of tracks which we’re planning to compile onto what I think is called an album or record. Very happy to be working with Harry Vanda, Glenn Goldsmith and Daniel Vandenburg again and although music isn’t a competition we’re winning! Have fifteen or so songs but we’ll only put ten or so on the record, we understand how short your attention spans are, some of the working titles are

Cocaine Christians
and British India Sabre Dance (one of Harry’s titles)

The record will probably be finished in a month or so we’re looking to release it around July (at which time we’ll be in the UK incidentally) and we’ll be doing all the usual touring etc. We’ve been playing the new Goldfrapp album a lot as well as the usual mix of Fleetwood Mac and Bill Callahan which is weird because the new tracks are all so fast, juxtaposition, swings and roundabouts and all that.
Apart from recording we’re business as usual we’re back up north (Queensland) soon playing shows so we’ll all be tanned when the next records press shots. I’ll post the tracklisting for the new album when its decided.

Thank you for a huge and wonderful summer. The Big Day Out Tour was great and the shows that have followed have been even better.
After three shows this coming weekend (Mooroduc/Golden Plains/Pushover) we are heading into the stuido to record our second album. For those of you who have made it to the shows you will have heard a few new songs that will feature on the album and you will also have heard that the plan is to release the Album on June 30th. The same day we released Guillotine last year.
Don't stress we are still playing shows every weekend (as we have for the past 9 months) whilst recording, so we'll be in a town near you before too long. we promise.
Also this Friday listen to Triple J at 4pm with Linda and Dools to hear Dec and Will live on air for an hour.

Friends,
Last night saw us four dead beats wrapping our greasy chip stained cheesel fingers wrapping around the air award for best new outstanding independant artist!
we are very happy for this achievement and would like to think the air charts and all those who are involved in the independant music scene..
Home bake was mega, thankyou to the slowly shifting hectic sea of faces that turned up, to watch us dance around with hangovers in the sun..
We had an awesome day and it has given us the festival fever for another year, really looking forward to seeing all of you at big day out and pyramid for new years!

Fans of feedback will be pleased to learn that an encore presentation of our Live at the Wireless performance will be played on JJJ on Sunday night.
The British India fanclub is called THE EAST INDIA TRADING COMPANY and you can join to receive free discs, posters, clothing etc as well as the chance to hear/ see new music and clips before the plebeians.
Thank you to the lunatics at the Karova lounge gig last night and apologies to those who couldn't get inside. We will be at the Golden Vine in Bendigo this evening performing similar feats and miracles. There are no tickets left.
Our new video RUN THE RED LIGHT can be found on Youtube we will put it on this page very soon and begin our campaign against Silverchair for JTV supremacy. We will start recording a new disc to follow up guillotine in December but shant be finished until April.

o all.
Due to reasons beyond our control we have had to pull out of the W.A. shows with kisschasy in september.
We are however still doing all the other shows.
We are very sorry about this but hopefully we will be coming across there again before the year is out to do over and under age shows to make up for it.
This weekend we are launching the album in Adeliade and Melbourne - the shows have already sold out - so thankyou to all of those who have been buying tickets, this tour has been a gas.

o everyone, just a quick word to say thanks to everyone that has been coming to our shows for the first tour for our album guillotine.
Every show has been a sell out thus far, so anyone hoping to come to the rest of the shows may want to invest in a pre sale ticket to avoid any dissapointment...
Thankyou also to everyone who has been buying the album, we know it is sold out in a lot of places but more are on thier way - persistence is the key i suppose...
We have a new tee shirt available which we will be selling at shows along with the album, (uming we havent left them in another state again.)

Dear Friends,
It seems that we have decieved you and to a greater exent ourselves. The posted gig for this friday night is for The Antenna Awards. A channel 31 award show night where we open the show by playing a little dity in small theatre in the BMW Edge of fedration square. It is a ceremony that is unfortounatly not open to the public. Luckily this venue does have windows and "banging" on said windows will most likely see you being arrested however is greatly encouraged.
We are greatly sorry for getting everyones hopes up to see us. We have had so many msgs from you guys telling us how excited about the gig. But we are greatly sorry that you cannot see it. For all you guys who were going to hang out please feel more than welcome to do so anyway. We would love to see you there.

Firstly thank you to all the people that turned up on Friday night it was a great show and it was even better seeing people that knew the words to our songs, the novelty to me has still not worn off.
Our new single, "Tie up my hands" has taken to the radio like a duck to water, the release apparently was more akin to a bird being released from its cage - its always wanted to fly, and now we are watching it spread its wings. I apologize for my horrible metaphor. It was a metaphor right?

On Friday night we are launching our new single, "Tie up my hands" from our forthcoming debut album, "Guillotine" which is being released by shock records on the 30th of June. The single has already been picked up by triple J and has also been played on Rage, so thank you to all the people that have been requesting it and keep it up.
